Mr. David C. Mwape

Mr. David C. Mwape joined Bank of Zambia in 1998 as Manager Network Operations in the Information and Communications Technology Department. He was appointed Assistant Director Operations in 2005 and as Director in September 2007. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked for the University of Zambia as lecturer of communications engineering  for seven years. While at the university, he served on technical and strategic formulation committees. He also received research attachment awards on network modeling and performance evaluation at the University of Swansea (UK) and University of Twente (Netherlands). He received B.Eng. and MSc degrees in communication engineering from the University of Zambia in 1989 and University of Aston, Birmingham, UK in 1992, respectively. He is a member of, the IEEE (Communications and Computer Societies).
