Mr. Mathew Kasonde Chisunka

Mr. Mathew Kasonde Chisunka is currently serving as Bank Secretary. As Bank Secretary he is the principal legal advisor to the Bank and Secretary to the Board. He also has the responsibility of overseeing the public relations function.

Mr. Chisunka joined the Bank in 1986 as Legal Officer. Since November 1994, he has held the position of Assistant Bank Secretary responsible for Legal and Board affairs in the Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, he practised law as an associate legal practitioner with a private legal firm following his admission to the Zambian bar in December 1983.

He has a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from the University of Zambia and received a Master of Laws degree (LL.M in International Business Law) from the University of Wales. He is an advocate of the High Court for Zambia.
