:: CODE OF BANKING PRACTICE IN ZAMBIA

PRINT

INTRODUCTION : Download Full Document

The Code of Banking Practice has been drawn up by the Bankers’ Association of Zambia (BAZ) to guide all member banks in their relationship with their customers. It is a voluntary code, which allows competition and market forces to operate and to encourage higher standards for the customer’s  benefit. All  banks subscribing to this Code will ensure that their staff are aware of it and will make it available to their customers upon request. Any member bank may observe a higher standard if it so wishes. This Code will be monitored and regularly reviewed by the Bankers’ Association of Zambia. Complaints and suggestions concerning the terms and general operation of the Code can be made in writing to the Bankers Association of Zambia.
